- What kind of camera do you use?
- At Titus Productions, we use the latest in HD technology, the Sony PMW-EX1. This allows us to provide true HD footage. Many video packages out there are labeled HD, but most yield a compressed version commonly known as HDV. This is not True HD. For our Standard Definition packages, we use the Panasonic AG-DVX 100 A, and AG-DVX 100 B Mini-DV camcorders. These are three chip cameras, meaning they deliver an excellent quality shot, even in low-light conditions. Keep in mind that if the lights go WAY down during your event, there’s little the camera can do to create light where there isn’t any…so the shots will be dark.

- How will you pick up the audio?
For weddings, we use a UHF wireless mic system which is usually worn by the groom and officiant to capture the wedding ceremony. In some cases, the mic may interfere with the location’s audio system. In those instances, we will use the on-camera shotgun mic, which is also used for speeches during the reception. Don’t forget to speak up!
For other special events, we will use the on-camera shotgun mic which is extremely sensitive and great for picking up the ambient sounds for your special day.

- How long will it take for me to receive the finished video?
- Turn-around time is approximately 4-6 weeks from the time all editing materials and music selections are received.

- How does payment work?
- We require a 50% non-refundable deposit with return of the signed contract to secure the date. The remaining payment is due on or before the day of the event. Please remember that until your contract and deposit are received, the requested date is open for booking.

- What kind of DVD format do you use?
- For consumer DVD burning, there are 2 formats: +R and –R. –R is the most commonly accepted format, so that is what we typically use at Titus Productions. However, on your video form, you will be given the opportunity to specify which format you would like to receive your DVDs in.
